Hi! I'm Mauren, a native Spanish-speaking teacher from Costa Rica with over six years of experience helping students learn Spanish.
My teaching approach is conversation-based because I believe that speaking and using the language in real-life situations is one of the most effective ways to build confidence and fluency.
My lessons combine meaningful conversations, practical vocabulary, and grammar explained in a simple, approachable way.

How do online Spanish lessons work?
All lessons take place online through Zoom. I personally send you the Zoom meeting link before your scheduled lesson.
How can I pay for my lessons?
Payments are made through PayPal.
How do I schedule my lessons?
Lessons are scheduled directly with me. We'll coordinate a day and time that works for both of us.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule a lesson at no charge with at least 12 hours' notice. Lessons canceled with less than 12 hours' notice, or missed because you forgot the appointment, will be charged. I understand that emergencies happen, and I'll consider each situation individually.
What happens during the free introductory lesson?
The introductory lesson is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, discuss your Spanish level, and identify your learning goals. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and learn more about my teaching approach.
Are free introductory lessons available for children?
Yes! Children ages 6–12 can enjoy a free 30-minute introductory lesson. Adults receive a free 20-minute introductory lesson.
